James David Santino

James David Santino

“Get these animals out of my house!” he’d playfully joke as the little ones would run around. Jamie always had a crazy and fun loving way about him. Most knew him as cupcake or nipples; you‘d hardly ever find him in a shirt. He’d eat anything within his reach; Jamie’s family tried to hide the ice cream, but he always seemed to find it. He loved cheering on Dale Earnhardt Sr and just about any kind of music except hip hop. Jamie lived his life helping people and found a fitting career working with Catholic Charities.

Jamie is survived by his wife, Sara; his children, Courtney (Oronde) Hall and Jabari Hall; his siblings, Catherine, Patrick, Johnny, Joey, Franky and Kathy; his grandson, Nathan; his nieces and nephews especially Joshua, Amanda, Matthew, Bobby and Patricia Ann and many in-laws. Preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Chant, father, James Hasenfus, brother, Michael and sister-in-law, Christine.

Come celebrate 56 great years, Saturday from 1 – 2 p.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside where there will be a service at 2 p.m.
