Milton Spangler Jr.

Milton Spangler Jr.

Some people said he was set in his ways, other joked he was stubborn. Work was a major focus of his life; he worked at Zurbrugg Hospital, Rancacos Hospital, Hoffman Precision Plastics and Melitta Coffee. Even suffering the occasional burn from molten plastic wouldn’t keep him from missing a day of work. His occasional free times would find him camping at Bass River, West Virginia and the Carolinas, painting duck decoys, and hunting rabbits and pheasants. He is survived by his children, Larry (Tammy Lurty), Penny (Michael) Myers, Danny (Dawn); grandchildren, Danielle, Danny Jr., Abigail Myers, Andrea, Amanda and Anthony; and siblings Marge Morrison of Leland, N.C., June Grippe of Willingboro, Annamay McNesby of Deptford and Gerald Spangler of Ogdon, U.T. Come celebrate 74 (July 10, 1939 – February 7, 2014) hard working years Saturday 10 to 11 a.m. with an 11 a.m. service at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. –
