Ralph Davidson

His Rode’s delivery route earned him more than a paycheck. As a favor to her father, he regularly gave Betty Monahon a ride home. Ralph not only became a husband on his wedding day, he also become a father, adopting her three daughters. He was always tinkering, building dollhouses and furniture, putting together jigsaw puzzles and model cars. When his car ashtray was dirty, it was time to call John Gaunt for another. Retirement found him moving to Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty, three daughters, Margie Sammons, Edna Hawk and Elizabeth Zubert, 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Come celebrate 82 great years Saturday 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Sewell.
