Steven M. Orfe

He was always looking for an adventure. For Steven life was meant to be lived on the go. If you couldn’t get in touch with him he was as likely to be sailing in the Caribbean, avoiding storms and the occasional pirate. Or he might be tooling around on his motorcycle: fitting for a guy his parents used to call Evel Knievel. He also had a love for WWII airplanes; if he wasn’t reading about them he was probably riding in one. Steve always had a soft spot for animals; he once spent days capturing a lost Macaw and many will remember his favorite dog, Atsro. From the days of his youth Steve was highly organized and was always hands on, traits that came in handy as a building superintendent.

He is survived by his Ma and Pop, Edward Sr. and Jane; his sister, Lisa Philipp and her husband, Scott; nieces and nephews: Justin (Erica) and their baby, Emerson, Brahm and Guinnevere; his favorite aunt, Dot Beattie and many cousins. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Ed.

Family celebrated 56 great years privately.
